  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup mini chocolate chips for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter and granulated sugar until combined.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until just combined, then fold in the semisweet chocolate chips.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
  • Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top as garnish before serving.

Notes

These brownie bombs can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
