  • 1 can cherry pie filling 21 oz
  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough 16.3 oz
  • 1 cup granulated sugar for rolling
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon for sprinkling

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Open the biscuit dough and separate into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a round shape using your palm.
  • Place about 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  • Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to form a ball and seal completely.
  • Dip each dough ball into the melted butter, then roll in granulated sugar.
  • Place the dough balls seam-side down onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with cinnamon to taste.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.
