  • 12 sheets lasagna noodles
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese whole milk
  • 2.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 cups marinara sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1.5 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay flat on a clean towel.
  • In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 2 cups of mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Place about 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture on each noodle and roll up tightly.
  • Arrange the roll-ups seam side down in the baking dish and top with the remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the top and bake for 30 to 35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh basil or a pinch of red pepper flakes to the cheese filling.
