  • 1 lb ground beef preferably 80% lean
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can tomato sauce 15 oz
  • 8 oz elbow macaroni uncooked
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion becomes translucent.

  • Stir in the tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  • Meanwhile, cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
