  • 12 oz cheese tortellini fresh or frozen
  • 1 lb ribeye steak thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup onion sliced
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and butter. Sauté onions and bell peppers until soft, about 5 minutes.
  • Add garlic and sauté for an additional 1 minute.
  • Add the sliced ribeye to the skillet, cook until browned.
  • Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in shredded provolone, salt, and pepper. Simmer until the cheese has melted and the sauce thickens.
  • Combine the cooked tortellini with the steak and sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
