Instructions
Preparation Steps
Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
Pour the heavy cream into the same skillet. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Add the spinach to the sauce, cooking until wilted. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Return the cooked shrimp and pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce. Serve immediately.
