  • 1 head cabbage chopped
  • 1 cup uncooked rice preferably basmati
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
  • Mix cooked beef, chopped cabbage, uncooked rice, and tomato sauce in a large baking dish.
  • Season with salt and black pepper. Cover the dish with foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the rice is tender.

Notes

Feel free to add some shredded cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking for a cheesy twist.
