Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the melted butter and brown sugar. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the butterscotch chips and spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are firm and the center is set. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
For added flavor, try adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking.
