Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch cake pan.
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes or until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Once the cake is baked, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and butter pecan frosting, stirring until melted and smooth. Pour this mixture over the cake, making sure it seeps into the holes.
Sprinkle the toasted pecans over the top of the cake.
Finish by drizzling caramel sauce over the cake. Allow it to cool before serving.
