Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
Combine the flour, cocoa, and salt; gradually stir into the egg mixture until blended. Fold in the walnuts and chocolate chips.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the center is set. Remove, and cool in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into bars.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality cocoa powder and chocolate chips. Enjoy warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
