  • 4 slices bread whole grain or white
  • 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation Steps

  • Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place buttered side down, layer slices of cheese, and add blueberries to two slices of bread.
  • Drizzle honey over the blueberries, and then sprinkle a pinch of salt.
  • Top with the other slice of bread, butter side up.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and grill each sandwich until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Notes

For an extra flavor kick, you can add a sprinkle of cinnamon to the blueberries.
