Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add beef strips and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add onions and garlic. Sauté until onions are translucent.
Add mushrooms and cook until they release moisture and become tender.
Sprinkle flour over the mushroom mixture, stir well, and cook for one minute.
Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
Stir in sour cream, salt, and pepper.
Return beef to the skillet and mix well with the sauce.
Combine cooked egg noodles with the beef and sauce mixture. Transfer to a casserole dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a stronger flavor, consider using a mix of different types of mushrooms.
