Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb salmon fillet skin on, boneless
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped for garnish
  • 4 slices lemon for serving

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
  • Place the salmon fillet in the center of a large piece of aluminum foil. Pour the mixture over the salmon, ensuring it's fully coated.
  • Wrap the salmon with the foil, ensuring it is tightly sealed, and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven, unwrap the foil, and let sit for a few minutes before slicing and serving with lemon slices and chopped parsley.

Notes

For an extra touch, try adding a sprinkle of chili flakes to the olive oil mixture for a bit of heat.
