Instructions
Preparation Steps
Butter one side of each slice of bread.
Layer mozzarella cheese, avocado slices, and tomato slices on the unbuttered side of two slices of bread. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side out.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill sandwiches until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes per side.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding fresh basil leaves or a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
