Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold the diced apples into the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth out the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
