  • 6 flour tortillas large size
  • 4 cups apple pie filling homemade or canned
  • 0.5 cup sugar granulated
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup caramel sauce for drizzling
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream optional, for serving

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spoon about 2/3 cup of apple pie filling into the center of each tortilla. Roll up and place seam side down in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Pour butter mixture over enchiladas and let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Drizzle with caramel sauce and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
