  • 2 pieces filet mignon steaks each about 6 oz
  • 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter unsalted

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Rub the steaks with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Ensure they are evenly seasoned.
  • Place the steaks in the air fryer basket. Cook for 6-9 minutes on each side, depending on your preferred doneness.
  • In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add minced garlic and rosemary on top of the steaks.
  • Once cooked, remove the steaks from the air fryer. Top each steak with half a tablespoon of butter and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality filet mignon and let it come to room temperature before cooking. Adjust cooking time based on steak thickness and personal preference.
