- 1 lb (450g) carrots, peeled and cut into uniform pieces
- 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup (55g) brown sugar
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg
Instructions
- Peel and cut carrots into uniform pieces.
- In a large skillet, bring water to a boil. Add carrots and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar until dissolved.
- Add cooked carrots to the skillet and toss to coat with the glaze. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly glazed and heated through.
- Add a pinch of salt and, if desired, a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg.
- Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy!
